Island Adventure Watersports was born in 2012 from a simple idea: Myrtle Beach deserved a watersports experience that felt like an escape, not a tourist trap. Instead of fighting ocean waves with a hundred other jet skis, we set up on the Intracoastal Waterway — a calm, scenic stretch of water surrounded by nature preserves and wildlife.
That bet paid off. What started with a handful of jet skis has grown into a full-service watersports operation: guided backcountry tours, pontoon and tritoon boat rentals, wakeboarding sessions, and BYOB tiki boat cruises. We've served over 10,000 guests and earned the top watersports rating in the Myrtle Beach area.
Our location off Dick Pond Road is tucked inside a pristine nature preserve — no crowds, no chaos, just open water and the kind of scenery you don't expect to find 10 minutes from the Grand Strand. Ospreys, great blue herons, turtles, and the occasional bald eagle are regulars here.
