Watersports on the Intracoastal Waterway in Myrtle Beach

Meet Our Watersports Boat Fleet on the Intracoastal Waterway

Pontoon boat cruising the Intracoastal Waterway in Myrtle Beach
| Island Adventure Watersports

When people think of Myrtle Beach, they picture the ocean — but some of the best boating in the area happens on the Intracoastal Waterway. At Island Adventure Watersports, we’ve built a fleet designed to give you the perfect day on the water, whether you’re planning a family cruise, a fishing trip, or a sunset celebration.

Our Fleet: Pontoons and Tritoons

We offer spacious pontoon boats (up to 9 passengers) and tritoon boats (up to 12 passengers) — both perfect for groups of all sizes. Every boat comes equipped with:

  • Bimini tops for shade on hot days
  • Bluetooth stereo — bring your playlist
  • Comfortable seating with plenty of room to spread out
  • Cooler space — pack your drinks and snacks
  • All required safety equipment included

No boating license is required, and our crew gives you a thorough orientation before you head out.

Half-Day or Full-Day Adventures

Choose the rental that fits your plans:

  • Half-day (4 hours) — starting at $299, perfect for a morning cruise or afternoon on the water
  • Full-day (8 hours) — ideal for fishing, trips to Sandy Island or a full day of relaxation

Both options give you plenty of time to explore the waterway, find a quiet cove, or cruise past the stunning homes and wildlife along the ICW.

Why the Intracoastal Waterway?

The ICW offers calm, protected waters — no ocean swells, no strong currents. That makes it perfect for families with kids, first-time boaters, and anyone who wants to relax without worrying about rough seas. You’ll cruise past:

  • Beautiful Cypress Trees
  • Ospreys
  • Sandy Island perfect for anchoring and swimming
  • Beautiful waterfront properties and natural scenery

Wakeboarding and Tubing Too

Looking for more action? Our dedicated wakeboarding and tubing sessions use a specialized watersport boat with a tower for towing. It’s a completely different experience from a pontoon cruise — and just as unforgettable. Sessions start at $590 for up to 6 riders.

Plan Your Day on the Water

Here’s what we recommend bringing:

  • Sunscreen and hats — there’s shade, but you’ll want protection
  • Cooler with drinks and snacks — no glass containers, please
  • Towels and a change of clothes — you might get splashed
  • A camera — the views are worth capturing
  • Fishing gear (optional) — the ICW has great freshwater inshore fishing
